The Challenge

AI4comms launched on a clear conviction: communications teams should treat AI as a partner, not a replacement. Its founders are senior communications and public-affairs operators, so the domain expertise and the client trust were already in place. What they wanted was a way to put that expertise to work at a scale advisory hours could never reach.

That is the ceiling every expert consultancy hits. Knowledge lives in people, and people do not scale. The same senior judgment that makes the advice valuable also caps how many clients it can reach. AI4comms did not want to hire around the problem. They wanted to productise the expertise, turning how they think about research, content, issues and stakeholder work into tools their clients could use directly.

Doing that needs a technology partner who builds products rather than slideware, and who builds them around someone else’s expertise without diluting it. That is the role Stromy plays.

Our Approach

Stromy is AI4comms’ technology product partner. The division of labour stays consistent. AI4comms owns the communications expertise, the client relationships and the delivery. Stromy designs and builds the AI products that carry that expertise. One generic toolchain runs underneath, branded and configured per client, so the same skills and AI workspaces, data connectors and document automation adapt to each client’s brand and context without forking the code.

The partnership runs on two tracks.

Co-built client products. Where a communications task repeats across clients, from media outreach to press-release drafting to issue and crisis response to stakeholder mapping, Stromy and AI4comms design a product together. AI4comms specifies the craft: what good looks like, the guardrails, the editorial judgment. Stromy turns that into a working tool with orchestrated workflows and human-in-the-loop checkpoints, branded for the end client. AI4comms takes it to market as part of their offer. Stromy leads the product, AI4comms stays the expert and the face to the client.

Done-with-you services. Other work is delivered as a managed service that AI4comms runs in-house on Stromy’s tooling, with the finished output handed to the client. The first is an organic-social campaign engine. For a national print-industry federation and its members, it produced a complete multi-phase campaign: strategy, content calendar, drafting, and ongoing execution guidance across LinkedIn and Instagram. It runs on a structured, client-specific intelligence layer of ranked audiences, messaging pillars, corporate and sector narratives, and an evidence-backed proof-point library, each feeding a defined stage of a six-phase methodology. The richer that data layer, the less generic the output, and every claim traces back to a source.

In both tracks the principle holds. The technology never fronts the client. AI4comms’ media-relations and crisis expertise does, while Stromy stays the engine room.

The Outcome

AI4comms now offers clients working AI products with their expertise built in, delivered at a scale that hours-for-fees never allowed. Co-built tools ship branded for each client. Managed campaigns run on a methodology that sharpens with every engagement.

The model compounds. Every client onboarded this way leaves a fully structured intelligence layer behind in the system, which becomes the foot in the door for the next product: the data is already there, and the next tool plugs straight in. Each engagement deepens a reusable asset instead of starting from zero. For a young practice, that turns selling time into building a product business, with the same expertise now scalable, defensible, and increasingly hard for a larger competitor to match.

We built AI4comms to bring AI to communications teams without losing the craft. The ideas were never the hard part. Scaling them was. Stromy builds the products, we bring the judgment and own the client relationship. The same toolchain re-skins for each client, so we sell real tools that carry our thinking.
